In December 2012 Clark was interviewed on the Wedding Photography Select website. The interview was about our approach to wedding photography and about how we wanted to run our business.

In November 2012 Monica's image 'Jade' was selected by the Royal Photographic Society as one of only 100 finalists in their Biennial Member Competition. The competition was open to all members of the Society and attracted 8829 entries. The 100 images chosen will be part of a Royal Photographic Society exhibition that will tour the UK in 2013.

In October 2012, Monica’s Hobby Portrait ‘Magic Tricks’ was published in the Autumn issue of 'ON THE MOVE', the quarterly newsletter of the Parkinson's Movement. The image accompanies an article about our good friend Tim, a magician, photographer and tireless fund raiser for research into Parkinson's Disease.
We submitted three 'baby and bump' pictures to the September 2012 Guild of Photographers competition and we were absolutely delighted that all three won 'Bronze Bars'. An image that receives a Bronze Bar is considered to be of a high standard by the Guild.

We have been so busy photographing weddings during the summer that we have not had time to make many portraits so we have started to submit some of our wedding images for competition. In April 2012, Clark's seascape 'Selsey Bill Lifeboat Station' was chosen from among 300 entrants to be hung in the Open Surrey Art Exhibition at The Lightbox in Woking.

In March 2012, one of our portraits was awarded a 'Bronze Bar' by the Guild of Photographers.
In March 2012 Mon and Clark both submitted 20 images each to a judging panel at the Guild of Photographers. The panel agreed that their membership status should be changed from 'Registered' to 'Qualified'.

In February 2012, one of our portraits was awarded a 'Silver Bar' by the Guild of Photographers. This is the first time we have entered an image in the monthly competition run by the Guild of Photographers.
In January 2012, Monica's image 'Helen' and Clark's image 'Selsey Bill Lifeboat Station' were both short listed in the Digital Photographer of the Year 2011 competition run by Digital Photographer magazine.

In October 2011, Clark came second in a photography competition run by the natural health and beauty company, Neal's Yard Remedies. The competition featured images of bees in support of their 'Bee Lovely' campaign. The campaign is intended to highlight the rapid and worrying depopulation of bees in the UK. The staff at Neal's Yard Remedies were extremely friendly and Clark and Monica were both invited to their Kings Road shop where they were made very welcome.

In September 2011, Monica came second in the annual City and Guilds Photography Competition with her Fine Art Portrait of Clark called ‘Photography’. Keeping it in the family, one of Clark's seascapes was also 'highly commended' by the judges. This was a national competition for all City & Guilds photography students and had over 750 entries. Both images were exhibited in a London gallery along with the other prize winners.
In August 2011, Monica’s Fine Art Portrait ‘Magic Tricks’ was published in the European Parkinson’s Disease Association magazine to accompany an article on the photograph’s subject, who has Parkinson’s Disease.
Monica and Clark are formally trained in Photography, and completed a Level 3 City and Guilds Certificate in Photo Image Capture and Printing at Bracknell & Wokingham College. Both graduated with distinctions. Clark also won the college ‘Principals Award’ for highest overall achievement during the course. As part of this award, the college will display one of Clark's seascapes and he can be seen here presenting it to the College Principal, Campbell Christie.
